Western Redcedar (Thuja plicata) is native along streams and springs from Oregon to BC, Canada. A large, long-lived conifer, it is extremely important to Northwest Native cultures. Different parts of the tree are used for everything from roofs to baskets. Our Canopy Western Redcedar Essential Oil is naturally steam distilled from fresh redcedar needles harvested by family members from their own forests in NW Oregon. The aroma is clean, fresh and camphor-like. Size 5 ml.

I originally found this brand at a local grocery store and fell instantly in love. When I went back they had stopped carrying it, and I was crushed. When I found Oregon Heartwood carried this, I bought 5 bottles, I can’t get enough. I use this with my diffuser, in my room sprays, everything. It reminds me of waking up at my grandma’s house in the woods surrounded by tall western red cedars in the morning scented by dew. It’s heavenly and if you’ve spent time in any forest in the the PNW, you need this magical oil to transport you back. Please always carry this.

Smells great, and shipped really fast. Definitely my favorite scent between Incense Cedar and Red Cedar. I find the incense much more Pine smelling while this is much woodier.
