This small bowl is fashioned from a piece of Oregon bigleaf maple burl. It has the tiny "eye" pattern typical of burl wood and also wavy grain that looks three-dimensional. One side features a natural edge that's sanded smooth to reveal the tiny bark inclusions ("eyes"). Finished with high gloss lacquer. One of a kind. Approx. 4.75 X 3.75 inches wide and 2 inches tall.
